Why is this film important now?

Love Wins serves as a reminder of how the LGBTQ+ community has gotten through historic struggles by sticking together.

This is especially important in the wake of Brianna Ghey’s murder and the changing LGBTQ+ laws around the world.

We remind ourselves of the distances we have come at a time when our government chooses to outright neglect LGBTQ+ rights by dismantling the Stonewall Agreement and in light of the Supreme Courts most recent ruling, negatively impacting the trans+ community.
