Producer, Actor, Founder of Evulve Productions
(She/They)
I'm a London-based feminist film producer, actor, and founder of Evulve Productions, a queer-led creative company building pathways for underrepresented filmmakers across film, theatre, and education.
Alongside running Evulve, I work freelance on creative projects, supporting films and ideas that align with my values.
My work is grounded in a few core beliefs:
You don’t need permission to start
Confidence is built through doing, not waiting
Access should be created, not gatekept
Representation has to be intentional to be meaningful
Creatives deserve systems that support their growth long-term
A few moments that have shaped my journey so far:
I was part of the producing team for a film that was screened in Parliament- a milestone that highlighted the power of storytelling in policy and public conversation.
I booked my first feature film role as an actor, expanding my experience within the industry and deepening my understanding of performance, collaboration, and storytelling from another perspective.
Across Evulve and my freelance work, I help bring creative projects to life while supporting the people behind them. This includes:
Producing and developing film and creative projects
Supporting emerging filmmakers through structured guidance
Collaborating on feminist and queer-led storytelling
Building platforms that connect creatives to opportunities
Creating content and conversations that build creative confidence
If you’re looking to collaborate on a project, develop an idea, or explore production support, you’re welcome to get in touch with a pitch deck and an overview of your project.
If you’re earlier in your journey and want to build your confidence, skills, and understanding of the industry, Film Dreamers is designed for exactly that.
If you’re looking for ongoing insight, creative conversations, and honest reflections on the filmmaking process, you can listen to Esme on Popcorn & Patriarchy- a podcast exploring film, culture, and confidence.
Whether you’re looking to collaborate, learn, or simply stay in the loop, there are multiple ways to be part of the Evulve ecosystem.
